Understand your Application Process
Step 1: Apply For A Mortgage
Whether you’re searching for a mortgage, refinancing, transferring, or renewing, you have three options to start your journey.
- Online – The most popular method. By applying online, you can take your first step wherever you are. Simply click here and fill out the form. If you hit a question you can’t answer, skip it and send what you have. Then, I’ll contact you to answer your questions.
- By phone – If you prefer to talk with someone, call us at 604-379-0093 to book your phone application. Application by phone takes about 15-30 minutes as I take your details. When we’re done, I’ll ask you to fax or email your credit consent.
- In-person – Book your in-person appointment, then drop by my office for a conversation. You’ll spend 15-30 minutes with me as we go through the application process and credit consent
Step 2: Pre-Qualify
Once your application has gone through, I’ll call to confirm your pre-qualification. Then, we’ll create a custom financing plan together that meets your lifestyle and wealth strategies. With your pre-qualification done, you’re ready to start shopping!

Step 3: Submit For Approval
While you’re out shopping, I’ll be reviewing options from 30+ lenders to find the product, interest rate, and terms that meet your needs. This includes coordinating with vendors and submitting your application for full approval.
Here’s a short video explaining the process:
Step 4: Your Mortgage Is Conditionally Approved
Once I’ve found the mortgage that fits your requirements, I’ll finalize a custom approval for you. Once that’s done, all you have to do is sign. Now, you’re almost done.
Step 5: Financing Conditions Complete
Congratulations! It’s time to build your wealth with the right mortgage. All that’s left is to meet your lawyer or title company to register your mortgage to your home’s title.
You don’t have to settle for the mortgage your bank wants to give you. With my simple, 5-step process, you get clarity at every step and a mortgage that works for you, not the bank.
